Project Manager
Success in the role of Project Manager (PM) is defined by three main components. First, the completion of projects within the allotted schedule and budget while providing Proform’s clients with an exceptional experience. Second, the mentorship and guidance provided to Proform team members allow them to advance in their careers. The third part of success is related to working towards “systems thinking” and finding operational solutions/efficiencies that are in coordination with the General Manager, put into Standard Operating Procedures.
Duties and Responsibilites
- Oversee all aspects and construction phases
- Quality control & Code compliance
- Weekly meetings & recap emails (with budget & schedule forecasts bi-weekly)
- Receipt coding for jobs (all invoices that come in will be filed in office and need to be coded before payroll and invoicing)
- Write up change orders and track (based on draft estimating done by Lead Carpenter)
- Check daily logs for quality and accuracy
- Budget updates
- Pull any necessary permits (not provided by Architect/Designer)
- Review and release any change orders
Superintendent
Success in the role of Site Superintendent is defined by executing Proform projects to the highest level of craftsmanship achievable while fostering continual improvements through mentorship of the Proform project team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze construction blueprints and plans to create timeline, project layouts, and resource needs
- Prepare, build, repair, and remodel project elements as needed
- Maintain a safe and organized project
- Maintain organized BuilderTrend (BT) project files, schedule
- Communicate effectively to clients and team
- Architect and Engineer coordination (RFIs, unforeseen conditions, etc.) with assistance from PM
- Layout – (i.e.: marking appliance & cabinet centerlines, setting datums, exterior penetrations, etc.)
- Scheduling – Subs, Deliveries, Inspections, etc. (BT draft schedule will be pre-set by PM/Pre-Con, maintain schedule and update)
- Sub quality control & check for code compliance
- Identify scope and provide “realistic costs” for change orders to PM
- Lead weekly client meetings
- Job site photos and video files
Lead Carpenter
Success in the role of Lead Carpenter is defined by executing Proform projects to the highest level of quality craftsmanship achievable as part of the Proform team. The Lead Carpenter is focused on honing their skills and is open to exploring/learning new methods in the pursuit of best practices as well as mentoring the carpenters in their skill improvements.
Duties and Responsibilites
- Manage carpenters on job
- Assist Superintendent with material take offs and orders, identify areas of potential
- Daily cleaning – Maintain clean and safe project
- maintenance (interior, exterior, air quality)
- Maintain safety locker and signage on jobsites
- Stay in close communication with Superintendent for upcoming items, safety items, etc.
Carpenter
The role of Carpenter at Proform is to provide exceptional craftsmanship, communication, and teamwork working towards the successful completion of our client’s homes
Duties and Responsibilites
Reports to: Lead Carpenter
- First on jobsite to unlock and prepare site for Lead
- Daily cleaning – maintain clean and safe project
- Site protection and maintenance (interior, exterior, air quality)
- Assist as extra labor as needed on jobs
- Maintain safety locker and signage on jobsites
- Clean and organize storage area
- Stay in close communication with Lead for upcoming items, safety items, etc.
